How to cook bacon on stovetop
- Take your bacon to heat it out of the fridge. When the cold bacon hits a hot pan, then there is no time to naturally heat up, allowing the meat to leave and cook bacon. Take your strips out of the fridge for 5-6 minutes before starting cooking.
- Spread the bacon on a cool frying pan or grill. Keep the bacon out on the pan so that it is flat and no one overlaps from the edges. Heavy bottom pans like cast iron are the best, but any pan will work.
- Do not try and cook only 1-2 pieces at a time. They will often lack enough Greece to coat the pan, so that you can burn Bacon. Fill the pan with the strips.
- Heat the heat on medium and heat the bacon and pan together. Bacon makes the best meal when it starts in a cold pan, so do not warm anything beforehand. Turn the heat on medium-low and let the bacon slip slowly.
- When this curl and wave begin, turn the bacon on. The familiar, wavy bacon shape is a good sign whose meat can use your flip. Turn it away and keep it cooked, without washing it. It usually happens after 7-8 minutes. If you are having trouble sprinkling, cover a lattice or wire pan on the top. You need to avoid steam and air, but it will be stuck too much.
- Cook bacon every 7-8 minutes cooked until your desired crispness. Bacon cooking is less than a science as an art, so make the meat you want to eat. As the meat gets hot, it will be brown and hard. However, it is not as dark as a bark, because the next step is usually burning.
- Bacon continues to cook in hot oil after taking out of the pan, so be careful while handling it.
- Sprinkle baked bacon on a paper towel for drain. Smooth any extra grease by placing it on a plate with a paper towel, then gently palm over the other paper towels.
- The baker gets as hot as it is, and it is as easy as removing it, but you should still be careful. Cooking chickpeas are often the best way to remove bacon.
- Put ghee in glass jar. You should not put oil in your drain, because it will freeze on cooling and can cause a dagger. Fortunately, Bacon Greece is an incredibly cooking oil that gives a rich, smoky flavor to any food. Allow Greece to cool in the pan for 2-3 minutes, then put it in a glass jar to protect it. It will be rigid and can be used in place of butter, lard or cooking oil.
- If you plan to cook more bacon, drain it to Greece, because new strips will add more Greece to the pan. You do not have to let the oil cool down, but you should prepare your glass jar with hot water and keep it dry before adding oil to prevent scattering.
