  • Open Settings. 
  • Tap on your Apple ID. This is the section at the top of the menu that contains your name and image if you have a pair.
  • If you are not signed in, tap on Sign in (your device), enter your Apple ID and password, then tap on sign in.
  • If you are running an older version of iOS, you do not need to do this step.
  • Tap iCloud This is in the second section of the menu.
  • Scroll down and tap on Find My iPhone It is under the menu "APPS USING ICLOUD" section.
  • Slide "Find my iPhone" on Post. It will be green. This feature enables you to discover your iPhone's location using any other device.
  • Slide "Send final position" to Status.Now your iPhone will send its location to Apple when the battery will be low just before the battery is switched off.
  • Open Find My iPhone on another device. Do this by launching the app on a mobile device or by visiting iCloud in the web browser.
  • Sign in with your Apple ID. Use the Apple ID and password with which you signed in on your iPhone.
  • If the app is on a device that belongs to another person, you may need to tap on sign out in the top-right corner of the app screen so that you can sign in with your own Apple ID.
  • Tap your iPhone. It should appear in a list of devices under the map; This location will be displayed on the map, which will zoom in when you select your iPhone.If the phone has been shut down or the battery has died, it will show you the last known location of your phone, but you will not be able to show the current address.
  • Tap the action. It is in the lower-center of the screen.
  • Tap Sound Play. It is in the lower-left corner of the screen. If your iPhone is nearby, it will play a sound to help you find it.
  • Tap Lost mode. It is in the lower-center of the screen. Use this option if your iPhone is lost at the place where it can be found by someone else or if you think it's stolen.
  • Enter an unlock code for your phone. Use a random number set that is not tied to you: no SSN, no date of birth, driver's license number, or anything that is not personal.
  • Send a message and a contact phone number which will be displayed on your screen.
  • If your iPhone is online, it will be locked instantly and can not be reset without lock code. You will be able to see the current location of your phone as well as any changes in the location.
  • If your phone is offline, it will lock on power-up immediately. You will receive an email notification and will be able to track the status of your phone.
  • Erase iphone It is in the lower-right corner of the screen. Use this option if you are concerned that you can not recover your iPhone or your personal information may be compromised.
  • This action erases all the data on your iPhone, which means that you will not be able to use Find My iPhone to detect your device.If
  •  you ever need to restore the trash data, then regularly backup your iPhone to iCloud or iTunes.
